About the Department
Department of Chemistry has started B.Sc. (Chemistry) Course since June 2012. Infrastructure of the department consists of two working laboratories with general laboratory and special laboratory for Physical, Inorganic and Organic chemistry for the practical. Along with this there is separate store for chemicals, acids, alcohols and preparation room. Department has separate cabin for the Head and staff room with computer and internet facility. The department also has departmental library.
All laboratories are fully equipped with instruments such as Mono-quartz Distillation, PH-Meter, Conductivity meter, Colorimeter, Polarimeter, Potentiometer, Refractometer, Turbidity meter, Hot Air Oven, UV Chamber, Heating mantle, Informative Charts and Academic CDs. Department is under CCTV surveillance.
